  I am a university faculty member, counselor and psychotherapist with a Ph.D. in Counseling. My work focuses on mental health, family relationships, parenting and educational development. I have authored ten books on marriage, parenting, education and personal growth, translated four internationally published books, and spent many years helping individuals and families build healthier relationships and navigate life's challenges through counseling, teaching and writing.

  I am a journalist, photojournalist and media entrepreneur based in Tabriz. With a background in civil engineering and urban planning, my work focuses on documenting social issues, environmental challenges, cultural heritage and urban life through visual storytelling. Over the past decade, I have covered major events and crises, led news photography teams, and founded the GonAydin news platform. I believe journalism is not only about reporting events, but also about giving visibility to people, places and stories that might otherwise remain unseen.

• Jafar Bazzaz

  Architect, Founder of OnSide Office

  Jafar Bazzaz is an architect and the founder of OnSide Office (Studio of Architectural Design). A graduate of Architecture from Islamic Azad University of Tabriz, with advanced studies in Project Management at the University of Tehran, he has been practicing architecture since 2005. Throughout his career, he has earned numerous awards and recognitions in national and international architectural competitions, including multiple first and second prizes, finalist selections, and honorable mentions for innovative architectural projects. Alongside his professional practice, he serves as Secretary of the Architecture Working Group at the Tabriz Studies Foundation, contributing to the advancement of architectural discourse through research, lectures, and design.

• Mahasti Alizadeh

  Professor of Preventive & Social Medicine

  Professor of Preventive and Social Medicine at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences and Director of the Social Determinants of Health Research Center. Dr. Mahasti Alizadeh explores how social, environmental, and psychological factors influence health and well-being. An educator and researcher, she has authored more than 200 scientific publications in public health and the social determinants of health, contributing to a deeper understanding of healthier communities.

• Nazila Iranzad

  Theatre Director, Playwright & Actress

  I am a theatre director, playwright and actress with more than three decades of experience in the performing arts. Throughout my career, I have written, directed and performed in numerous stage productions across Iran, while also working in music direction and theatre education. Holding degrees in Theatre Directing and Persian Language & Literature, my work explores storytelling as a way to preserve culture, challenge perspectives and create meaningful dialogue. I have received several awards for directing and stage production, and I continue to develop new theatrical works and mentor emerging artists.

  I have been writing and researching the history and culture of Azerbaijan for more than four decades. As an independent historian, author and Editor-in-Chief of Ghoroub quarterly magazine in Tabriz, my work focuses on the history of Tabriz, the Constitutional Revolution, Azerbaijani literature and the preservation of overlooked historical voices. I have authored, edited and restored numerous books, historical documents and literary works in Persian and Azerbaijani Turkish. My research is driven by a belief that understanding our shared past helps communities build a stronger future.

  CEO of Golshahd AzarKandoo, one of Iran's leading honey and food production companies. Touraj Joudi holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, along with MBA and DBA qualifications. He has been an Official Expert of the Iranian Judiciary in Civil Engineering and Traffic since 2008. With extensive experience in food manufacturing, product development, quality standards, branding, and market expansion, he has also served in leadership roles within East Azerbaijan's food industry associations, contributing to the growth of production, exports, and the regional business ecosystem.

• Yoones Sekhavat

  Assistant Professor, Modern College of Business and Science

  Dr. Yoones Sekhavat is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS), Muscat, and an Associate Professor at Islamic Art University of Tabriz. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Memorial University of Canada and completed his postdoctoral research at the University of Alberta. He previously served as a faculty member at Uppsala University in Sweden and as Deputy Head of the Multimedia group at the Iranian Academy of Arts. His research focuses on serious game design, human-computer interaction, and AI-driven art. Dr. Sekhavat is also the co-founder of the knowledge-based company Smart Reality, where he develops innovative XR technologies. His work has been recognized through international awards, scholarly publications, and educational initiatives that bridge academia, industry, and emerging technologies
