His tenure as Principal Secretary (Ecology & Environment), APCCF (Wildlife), Member Secretary (KSPCB), and Field Director (Kali Tiger Reserve) has been marked by innovation, impactful policy implementation, and award-winning eco-restoration and citizen engagement programs. ASIA BOOK OF RECORDS was awarded for the creation of the largest number of eco-friendly turmeric Ganesh for KSPCB’s initiative to promote an eco-friendly Ganesh festival 2021.Guinness World Record was awarded for the creation of the largest Online photo album of handmade sculpture of Turmeric Ganesha in 2022. Another Guinness World Records was awarded for most people sculpting with Ganesha clay modelling simultaneously in 2023.

  Samyukta Hornad is a celebrated Indian actress, social entrepreneur, and animal welfare advocate based in Bengaluru. With over 34 films and web series across South Indian cinema, she has earned accolades including the Filmfare Award and SIIMA Award for acting, the 7th CMSB National Award, the KWAA Youth Icon Award, and several others for her contributions to social service. Beyond the screen, she founded the Praana Animal Foundation, rescuing thousands of animals and building compassionate ecosystems for all living beings. She also serves on the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services Board of the Government of Karnataka. • Padma Shri Syed Kirmani

  Indian Cricketer

  Padma Shri Syed Kirmani — awarded “Best Wicketkeeper in the World” during India’s historic 1983 World Cup win — has been honored with the Padma Shri and Arjuna Award. A distinguished cricketer and administrator, he captained India, South Zone, and Karnataka, later serving as Coach, Manager, and Director of the Karnataka State Cricket Academy. Rising to lead major cricket committees, including the National Selection Committee, he has received top honors such as the Ekalavya, Rajyotsava, and multiple Lifetime Achievement Awards.
