I'm passionate about
I am passionate about creating spaces where conversations can inspire change — especially among students who are struggling to find direction in a rapidly changing world. I believe that the right ideas and voices can shift perspectives, help people reconnect with themselves, and remind them of the deeper values often lost in our digital age.
I’m also deeply passionate about celebrating Bengaluru — its history, culture, and transformation — so that the next generation understands the city not just as a place to live, but as a living story that shapes who we are and who we can become.
An idea worth spreading
In today’s world, students face an unprecedented wave of challenges — from the subtle pressures of social validation and comparison fostered by digital platforms, to the growing detachment from real-world experiences due to the constant scroll culture. Issues like drug influence, anxiety, and loss of self-identity are rising silently among young minds. What we need are voices that can connect deeply with students — speakers who can address the changing social habits, mental health struggles, and the urgent need to rediscover purpose and authenticity in a hyper-digital world.
Alongside this, there’s another crucial narrative that students must not lose sight of — the story of Bengaluru itself. The city’s evolution, from a network of small towns and municipalities to the Silicon Valley of India, holds lessons in resilience, adaptability, and cultural identity. Speakers who have studied or lived through Bengaluru’s transformation — historians, urban storytellers, and local changemakers — can help the younger generation reconnect with the roots of their city. Understanding where we come from gives meaning to where we are headed.
This TEDx session aims to bring together individuals who can speak about the evolving student psyche and the changing social fabric, while also reigniting pride and awareness about Bengaluru’s heritage and evolution. Together, these conversations can help students see the importance of balance — between modernity and mindfulness, technology and culture, progress and preservation.
The TED story
My TED journey began with a simple belief — that powerful ideas can truly change the way people see themselves and the world around them. As a student, I’ve seen how many of us silently struggle with pressure, distraction, and uncertainty in an age dominated by social media and constant comparison. I wanted to create a space where voices that matter could be heard — voices that bring clarity, hope, and direction. Joining TEDxRUAS gave me the chance to turn that vision into something real. Through curating and connecting with speakers, I’ve discovered the power of stories — from people addressing student mental health to those preserving the spirit and history of Bengaluru. My TED story is about bridging generations, emotions, and ideas — reminding people that meaningful change always begins with a conversation worth having.
Things you might not know
People don’t know I’m good at connecting ideas and people in meaningful ways. I love listening, observing, and finding the hidden potential in stories that others might overlook. Whether it’s helping someone express their thoughts clearly or discovering a powerful theme that can inspire change, I enjoy bringing depth and purpose to every conversation I’m part of.
