I'm passionate about
I’m deeply passionate about mental health awareness, storytelling, and creating spaces where people feel seen and heard. My background in psychology allows me to understand human emotions and behaviors, while my experience as a content creator helps me translate those insights into relatable and engaging narratives. Whether through social media initiatives, NGO work, or TEDx events, I’m driven by the desire to bring authenticity and empathy into everyday conversations. I believe stories have the power to heal, connect, and inspire change, and that’s the energy I bring into every project I take on.
An idea worth spreading
Authenticity is not a trait, it’s a movement. In a world increasingly driven by perfection and performance, I believe the power of authenticity can transform how we connect, communicate, and create. Whether in classrooms, workplaces, or on social media, people are craving real stories and honest voices. My idea is to reframe vulnerability as strength and self-expression as leadership, because when individuals show up as their true selves, they don’t just inspire others; they create change. Through the lens of psychology and digital storytelling, I aim to bridge empathy with expression, encouraging people to use their voices to make impact-driven conversations mainstream.
The TED story
My TED journey began as an attendee, sitting in the audience completely captivated by the flow, energy, and ideas that filled the room. The way each story was told, authentic, bold, and inspiring, left a lasting impact on me. I remember walking out of that event feeling changed, thinking, ‘This is what impact looks like.’
Today, being part of the organising team for TEDxRUAS feels like a full-circle moment. From being inspired by the stage to now helping bring others’ stories to life, it’s a journey of growth, learning, and purpose. TED has taught me that change often begins with one voice, and I’m proud to be part of a platform that amplifies those voices.
Things you might not know
Understanding people beyond their words. My background in psychology has helped me read between the lines, whether it’s emotions, body language, or unspoken cues. I often bring this skill into team settings, helping create smoother communication and stronger collaboration. I’m also good at simplifying complex ideas and presenting them in a way that feels both meaningful and relatable. Whether it’s curating content, planning events, or problem-solving on the go, I bring calmness and clarity to moments that need it most. Beyond that I’m also an animal enthusiast and as an animal enthusiast, I’ve always been fascinated by how animals communicate without words yet convey such deep emotion and trust. It reminds me that empathy is not just a human skill but a universal one. Observing their behaviour has strengthened my understanding of nonverbal connection and emotional intelligence, core aspects I bring into my work in psychology and storytelling.
