Corey Hajim has spent her career both working in and writing about business.

Why you should listen

During her seven-year tenure as TED's business curator, Corey Hajim sought ideas from industry leaders, entrepreneurs, economists and teachers of the trade, ultimately helping speakers shape and share their ideas with the TED audience.
Prior to TED, Hajim spent a decade in finance, both in asset management and as a portfolio manager and analyst at a hedge fund based in New York, focused on consumer, media and technology equities. She also spent three years as a reporter at Fortune Magazine and her early career working in marketing and project management. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont and earned her MBA at Harvard Business School, where she co-authored case studies with two professors and ran the weekly newspaper The Harbus.

Currently Hajim is a freelance writer and editor while juggling life with a husband, three kids and two cats. In her downtime, she enjoys reading in a cozy chair, occasionally knitting, dancing before 11pm and writing letters.
