Embarking on a journey of self-discovery has revealed my profound connection with meaningful causes, particularly in the realm of sustainable innovation. I envision immersing myself in a world where my enthusiasm becomes a catalyst for positive change. My passion lies in fostering sustainability in my daily life, advocating for eco-friendly practices, and championing ethical consumption. I see myself channeling my energy into the dynamic realm of renewable energy and green technologies. I want to explore the possibilities of solar advancements, engage with sustainable transportation solutions, and actively participate in initiatives that promote a cleaner, more energy-efficient world. My focus is on the data-centric side of sustainability, discovering how information and technology can optimize resource usage and shape environmentally conscious decision-making. If I had to give a general answer to the question ‘What are you passionate about?’, I would say that my greatest passion is culture. I find culture very fascinating; in fact, I am currently studying languages, which is not only the study of grammar but also the discovery of a new culture. I also love art, history and literature, which push me every day to search for new ideas.

I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a rare and fatal cancer, at age 37. Fueled by a sense of urgency and passion, I set out to beat the disease. Since my diagnosis, I have sought to help patients across all cancers and diseases to ensure they not only receive the right care, but also understand that despite facing a broken system, they can beat it. This led me to work with 5 leading cancer non-profits to determine The Right Track, 4 simple steps newly diagnosed patients could take to give them the best chance at beating their disease.

I was lucky enough to be a speaker of TEDxSiena, the first of the first edition. It was an emotional experience, a lot, that I still carry with me. We made friends with the organizers of TEDxSiena and we decided to bring this event to our territory too, to facilitate relations, spread knowledge and innovation. To open up to a changing world.
