Albert Chan
Dr Albert Chan is a DBS alumnus, clinician, educator, and leader in Hong Kong’s public healthcare system, where he serves as Chief of Service of the Department of Anaesthesia, Pain and Perioperative Medicine at Prince of Wales Hospital. Although he works in complex cardiac anaesthesia, his real passion lies in teaching, mentoring, and shaping the future of medical education. He is also passionate about innovation in healthcare, drawing on his background in computer science to lead projects that use technology to improve perioperative care, staff efficiency, and patient safety. Outside work, Albert values nothing more than spending weekends and holidays with his wife, Christina, and his children, Brady and Blake.
Derek Lee
Derek Lee is a DBS alumnus who is currently working as a Taoist and Buddhist spiritual coach that brings ancient Chinese wisdom into practical, modern living. Shaped by both classical study and his experience in the theme park industry—where creating meaningful human experiences at scale is essential—he explores how presence and inner clarity influence well‑being and performance. Through translating classical texts and leading workshops on wellness, mindfulness, and happiness, Derek guides people to reconnect with their inner reality. He believes true fulfilment arises when individuals rediscover the Source within—a place of clarity, balance, and limitless growth.
