From Here to the World

From Here, to the World is a TEDxDanjielin Road event rooted in Lhasa, one of the world’s most geographically and culturally distinctive regions. “Here” is not only a physical location, but a lived experience — shaped by history, landscape, belief, and personal struggle. From this place, we invite voices who have deeply engaged with their own paths, disciplines, and inner worlds, and who are ready to speak beyond boundaries. This event brings together thinkers, creators, practitioners, and explorers from diverse fields to share ideas born from real lives rather than abstract theories. Their stories move from the local to the universal, from personal experience to collective reflection. From Here, to the World is an invitation to re-examine where ideas originate, how perspectives are shaped, and how voices from the margins, highlands, and in-between spaces can resonate globally. We believe meaningful ideas do not need to come from the center of the world — they only need honesty, courage, and the willingness to be shared.
