What does it mean to truly breathe? Not just physically, but mentally, creatively, and as a community. In a world that rewards constant motion, relentless productivity, and an always-on mindset, the act of pausing has become radical. Space has become scarce. And the ideas that need room to grow are often the ones we never give ourselves time to hear. TEDxAsia Pacific U 2026 is an independently organised TEDx event officially licensed by TED, taking place on 1 August 2026 at Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation, Kuala Lumpur. Curated and produced entirely by students, this full-day event brings together speakers, performers, and thinkers from across disciplines and backgrounds, each with an idea worth spreading. This year's theme, Room to Breathe, is an invitation. To slow down. To listen differently. To make space for the perspectives, stories, and questions that shift how we see the world and ourselves. Expect talks that challenge assumptions, performances that move you, and conversations that linger long after the day ends. Come ready to think. Leave with room to breathe.
