17 Reasons Why is a TEDx Youth event inspired by the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the belief that meaningful change begins when people ask better questions, share bold ideas and choose to act. Hosted by TEDx Velammal Global School Youth, the event brings together student voices, educators, community changemakers and grassroots leaders to explore ideas connected to equality, education, sustainability, responsible communities, opportunity and human potential. Through personal stories, lived experiences and thought-provoking perspectives, each talk offers a different “reason why” our choices today matter for tomorrow. Beyond the stage, the event celebrates young people as thinkers, creators and contributors. 17 Reasons Why is designed to encourage audiences not simply to understand global challenges, but to see how individual actions can contribute to a more inclusive, sustainable and hopeful future. 17 Goals. 1 Better Tomorrow.
