Charanya Vijayaraghavan

I’m someone who has never quite believed in staying in one box. My journey has moved through operations, mobility, technology, product, education, and the arts—from working in customer and fleet operations at Uber, to working with product and customers at Freshworks, and eventually finding my way into education and dance. At the heart of all these experiences is my curiosity about people, ideas, and what makes things work. Today, I’m a Dance Educator and Bharatanatyam practitioner, creating learning experiences that bring together movement, storytelling, technology, creativity, and culture. I work with young people not just to teach them a skill, but to give them the confidence to think, create, collaborate, and express themselves. I love taking something rooted in tradition and giving it a contemporary voice. I love taking an idea that exists only on paper and turning it into something people can experience. And I love watching students discover that they are capable of far more than they imagined. My career may look like a collection of different worlds, but to me, they all connect. I’m still learning, still experimenting, and still figuring out what happens when different worlds collide—and that’s probably the most exciting part of the journey.
