• Aigerim Shorman

  Product Leader and Investor

  Aigerim is a VP of Product Management at Meta leading the Horizon product team. She has been at Meta for 10 years. Aigerim has led product teams across Facebook App (Identity, Facebook Dating) and Ads. Before Facebook Aigerim was a founder and CEO of a local discovery startup that was backed by Google Ventures and other top tier investors. Outside of Meta, Aigerim is an angel investor in early stage startups. She previously served on the Board of OneGoal Bay Area, where she was a Chair of the Development Committee. Today she serves on the Board of USC Asian Pacific Islander Alumni Association. Aigerim is originally from Kazakhstan, loves to travel and currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and 2 kids.

  Judy Carter is a bestselling author, comedian, and keynote speaker who pioneered using humor as a tool for workplace wellness and personal empowerment. She performed as a headlining stand-up comic for decades, appearing on over 100 television shows alongside comedy legends like Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno. As a corporate speaker, Carter has delivered keynotes to Fortune 500 companies including Boeing, Disney, FedEx, and Oracle, helping audiences manage stress and build stronger teams. She is the author of The Comedy Bible and The New Comedy Bible, teaching how to harness humor as a transformational tool. Featured in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, CNN, and NPR's "All Things Considered," Carter is recognized as an expert on using comedy for leadership and stress reduction.

• Karen Kornbluh

  Ambassador

  Ambassador Karen Kornbluh is a Visiting Fellow at the Center for Democracy and Technology and Senior Advisor for Emerging Technology at the Milken Institute. She recently served as Principal Deputy White House CTO and Director of the National Artificial Intelligence Office. Previously, she served as U.S. Ambassador to the OECD in Paris and held senior roles at the Treasury Department and Federal Communications Commission. Earlier in her career, she worked as an economist in the private sector and as Executive Vice President at a global data firm. Profiled by The New York Times as “Fighting for Economic Equality,” Kornbluh has chaired the boards of Radio Free Europe and the Open Technology Fund. Her writing appears in Foreign Affairs, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, and the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and serves on the Maryland Economic Commission.

• Kei Worry

  Director, Focused Speech Inc.

  Kei Worry is a trilingual Speech-Language Pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed in California. Since 2006, Kei has worked with individuals across the lifespan—from preschoolers to centenarians—at organizations such as Stanford Health Care, El Camino Health, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, and the Los Altos School District. Blending creativity with evidence-based practice, Kei helps people find their voices and strengthen their connections through communication. She views speech not just as accurate expression, but as a way to be understood and truly heard. A graduate of New York University, Kei previously worked as an actress in New York City for ten years before pursuing speech-language pathology in the Bay Area. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her two sons, playing tennis, and practicing hot yoga.

  Kimberly Bryant is an electrical engineer, entrepreneur, and founder of Black Girls Code, a nonprofit dedicated to introducing girls of color to technology and computer programming. She launched the organization in 2011 after a successful career in technical leadership roles at major biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Through Black Girls Code, Bryant has helped build a global movement to “change the face of technology” by equipping thousands of young women with skills, confidence, and community in STEM fields. Recognized as a leading voice in tech inclusion, she frequently speaks and writes about equity, innovation, and expanding access to opportunity in the digital economy.

Her content has helped millions of global viewers upskill, launch businesses, pursue education and jobs, and navigate life in a new country with confidence. Beyond content, Marina mentors founders, amplifies diverse creator voices, and builds community programs that turn knowledge into real-world outcomes.

• Sarah Moshman

  Filmmaker

  Sarah Moshman is an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and TEDx speaker whose work has been featured on Netflix, PBS, CNN, Good Morning America, and Marie Claire. She has directed and produced three acclaimed documentaries—The Empowerment Project (2014), Losing Sight of Shore (2017), and Nevertheless (2020)—each celebrating resilience, ambition, and the strength of women. Her narrative films include UNBOUND, a short about the first mother in space starring Lauren Lapkus, which won NASA’s 2022 CineSpace Competition and screened on the International Space Station, and A MOTHER IS BORN, exploring the transformation into motherhood. Fueled by a mission to uplift and inspire, Sarah creates stories that champion strong female role models and spark meaningful conversations. She also mentors aspiring filmmakers through her book Empowered Filmmaking and teaches workshops worldwide.

• Vanessa Parli

  Managing Director, Programs and External Engagement

  Vanessa Parli is Managing Director of Programs and External Engagement at the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI). She leads initiatives that connect academia, industry, and policymakers, ensuring that AI research informs real-world innovation and responsible adoption. At HAI, Parli oversees education programs for learners ranging from high school students to senior executives and guides the development of the AI Index, a flagship report on global AI trends. She also manages research grants and convenings that support interdisciplinary collaboration across the AI ecosystem. Previously, Parli worked in management consulting, using statistics, machine learning, and data science to advise government, biotech, and nonprofit clients. She holds an MS in Engineering Management and Computational Mathematics from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University.

• Victoria Tentler-Krylov

  Editorial illustrator, creator of books for children, architect

  Victoria is a trained architect turned children's illustrator and author, as well as editorial illustrator. She grew up in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and studied architecture and urban design at Cooper Union and Columbia University. Victoria's inspiration is fueled by urban life, but also by fantasy, possibility, and imagination. Victoria's first author-illustrator book, Building Zaha: The Story of Iraqi-British Architect Zaha Hadid, came out in 2020 to starred reviews. She is now working on new books dedicated to introducing young readers to architecture. The covers that Victoria regularly creates for The New Yorker magazine tell stories of what it's like to be alive in the current moment. She also collaborates with major media and corporate clients such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Politico, Bloomberg, The Washington Post, Louis Vuitton, and many others.
