We begin, each of us, on our own islands. Enisled, yet connected through the ideas we harbor. We then begin to look to the future, for which we journey into the past, looking into visionaries like Pujya Swami Chinmayananda, who paved the way for the present. But to him, just sailing was not enough. His clarion call to the future involved reinventing the world. It urged action for impact. And it was in this spirit that TEDx took root here - in our school. One stage, one spark, infinitely many ideas, stoking that once faint glimmer into a blazing inferno of passion and innovation. Today, we gather once again to reinvent the world with our congregating ideas. And as we brave the path, new avenues unfold, new truths unveil, and we welcome a changed tomorrow. And at last, change doesn't happen to us. It happens through us. These moments of change are not just transitions; they are intersections, where voices meet, where visions collide, where futures are shaped. This is a convergence. Ladies and Gentlemen, we present to you: X-vergence. Where ideas intersect.

  • Dr Guru Smt Kanaka Sudhakar

    Senior Bharatanatyam artiste and director of Nrityabharati

    Dr. Guru Smt. Kanaka Sudhakar is a senior Bharatanatyam artiste and director of Nrityabharati. She has developed around 155 semi-classical pieces. A dedicated researcher, Dr. Kanaka Sudhakar has explored the therapeutic values of Indian classical dance on the mind and body. She has received the national Guru Dronacharya award from the Government of India.

  • Subodh Kerkar

    Medical professional, He is the founding director of Museum Of Goa (MOG)

    Subodh Kerkar is a qualified medical professional who gave up medicine to pursue the arts in 1990. He is the founding director of the Museum of Goa (MOG), which is one of the largest privately owned contemporary art spaces in India. His art practice includes installations, sculptures, multimedia works, performances, paintings, and drawings. His works are heavily washed by the ocean and are commentaries on social, political, and religious issues.

    Entrepreneur, Professional photographer, Co-founder of M'Jane Studio.

    Vivish George is an entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in financial services and real estate. He founded a successful debt management company, specializing in loan and debt restructuring and repayment facilitation for clients and banks. He is also a professional photographer specializing in portrait and street photography, and co-founder of M'Jane Studio, a creative space for photographers in Chennai.

  • Yogesh Shinde

    Entrepreneur, Founder of Bamboo India.

    Yogesh Shinde, the founder of Bamboo India, has made a significant impact in sustainability and social entrepreneurship. His company has replaced over 16.5 lakh kg of plastic waste with eco-friendly bamboo products. Bamboo India exports to seven countries and offers innovative products like bamboo toothbrushes, earbuds, and combs. He envisions replacing at least one billion plastic products with bamboo alternatives by 2030.
