• Adam Findlay

  Adam is a Design and Technology teacher and Head of Year 8 at The King Alfred School, London. Before he started teaching ten years ago, he was a cabinet maker and furniture designer.

• Alexandra Lucas

  Alexandra Lucas is a Year 12 student at The King Alfred School, London, studying Maths, Further Maths and 3D Design.

• Bronwen McGaw

  Bronwen is a 16-year-old student at The King Alfred School, London, in her final year of GCSEs, hoping to study Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A level.

• Ella Shaw

  Ella is a Year 12 student at The King Alfred School, London, studying Biology, Psychology, Maths and English Literature. She hopes to study neuroscience in the future.

• Finley Narahara

  Finley is a Year 12 student at The King Alfred School, London, studying the UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing and Production Arts.

• Hannah Lang

  Hannah's flute teaching is part of the fabric of The King Alfred School, London, where she has taught generations of flute and recorder players for more than 30 years. She also plays professionally and loves to cook, care for her family and to spend time with nature and culture.

  Julia Davis works as a circle holder, creating spaces where people can talk without interruption or judgement and deeply listen without needing to solve problems.

• Kimberley Olliff Cooper

  Kimberley is a mum, teacher, and learning designer who co-founded ThriveNow Education to champion holistic, inclusive education that meets the needs of learners, communities, and the planet. Based in South West London, she’s dedicated to transforming secondary schools into safe, nature-embedded ‘schools of dreams’ that foster wellbeing, creativity, and real-world problem-solving.

• Lily Roden

  Lily is a Year 12 student at The King Alfred School, London, studying Sociology, English Literature, Photography and Film Studies.

• Megan Beynon

  Megan is a Year 12 student at The King Alfred School, London, studying Film Studies, History and English.

• Natalie Petzal

  Natalie is a class teacher and Head of Maths in Lower School at The King Alfred School, London.

• Peter York

  Peter York, an Old Alfredian, is an author, journalist, broadcaster, management consultant and former President of The Media Society. Over the last 30+ years he has produced a flood of articles, initially in Harpers & Queen and thereafter in broadsheets, particularly The Independent, and thirteen books, including the 1980s best-selling trade book The Official Sloane Ranger Handbook. His latest book, ‘A Dead Cat On Your Table’ was published in 2024 by Byline.

• Rikke Wichmann-Bruun

  Rikke is an experienced leader who has spent half of her life in the world of advertising and marketing - Danish born and bred - but a true European having lived in Germany, Italy, France and a combined 16 years in London.

• Samira Radhakrishnan

  Samira is a Year 12 student at The King Alfred School, London, studying Maths, Chemistry and Economics.

  Sophie is an education consultant and advocate for neurodivergent learners, she supports schools and families to better understand cognitive diversity through strength-based assessments, workshops and practical consultancy.
