Frieda Ndeutala Kaunapawa Mukufa
Writer | Editor | Performance Poet
Frieda is a Namibian writer, editor, and performance poet whose work powerfully explores the intersections of memory, identity, and resistance. With a Master's degree in English and Applied Linguistics from the Namibia University of Science and Technology, and an Honours degree in Communications, Frieda’s work blends academic insight with deep creative expression. She is the founder of Damn_Etu, a poetry platform rooted in healing and storytelling, and a former Doek! Poetry Fellow and Spectrum Poetry Award winner. Her performances and teaching, whether in classrooms, lecture halls, or on stage, honour the voices of women and children, challenging systems while preserving memory. Through poetry and prose, Frieda is redefining what it means to speak truth with courage.
Liselle & Lisette So-Oabes
Entrepreneurs | Multi-Award Winning Content Creators | Rare Duo
Born in Windhoek and raised between the vibrance of city life and the heart of Gobabis, these dynamic twin sisters have carved out a powerful brand in Namibia’s ever-evolving creative industry. The @_twinfluencers have become trailblazers in digital storytelling, brand building and content monetization. The sisters have earned titles like Influencer of the Year (DStv Content Creation Awards) and Blogger of the Year (Simply You Magazine Awards) but their work goes far beyond likes and clicks. Through travel vlogging across all 14 regions and more than 30 unique lodges, they’ve helped make Namibia’s creative economy more visible, valuable and viable. Entrepreneurs at heart, Liselle “Citygirl” and Lisette “Plaasmeisie” have co-founded ventures in real estate, education, tourism and beauty creating over 50 jobs. The sisters are currently pursuing their Master’s degrees in the energy industry, expanding their impact into the fields of sustainability and economic transformation.
