Living transformation

Took placeFebruary 1, 2018
LocationZürich, Zürich (de), Switzerland
FormatStandard
Paradeplatz, located centrally in Zurich, is where the brightest scientific minds of Switzerland meet with successful business people and creative artists. This unique mix of communities shapes a brighter society for the people working and living together, which in turns develop the brand Zurich and Switzerland as a safe haven for innovation. Through our TEDx event, we seek to bring these communities together and to drive the current discussion of implementing digital transformation in all aspects of daily business in the city, where new ways of communication are now needed to drive innovation, and at the same time think of ways to preserve the historical heritage and culture. That is why we have also chosen the theme "Living transformation".

  • Christian Naef

After starting his career at an international bank, Christian Naef discovered his passion for fashion and luxury goods. He visited Domus Academy in Milan, one of the leading fashion schools in the world to pursue his interest. His master thesis with Dubey & Schaldenbrand, a small family owned watch manufacturer in La Chaux-de-Fonds, involved creating a communication concept focusing on how to combine tradition and heritage with the new, more contemporary design of the timepieces. With SIGG Switzerland, he created a new website and web shop. Focusing in online advertising including SEO/SEA and social media, he managed to launch the web shop in 18 new countries and made the web shop a fundamental revenue stream for the company. Before co-founding the startup, Advertima, he was a Senior Sales Advisor at Tesla. Christian will be sharing his vision on how online and offline experiences will integrate and interconnect with each other in the next few years.
