Paul Bloom explores how humans grapple with life’s conundrums — pleasure and pain, morality and meaning, religion and art. A professor of psychology at the University of Toronto and professor emeritus at Yale, he is renowned for turning deep research into clear, compelling insights. He is the author of seven books, including Psych: The Story of the Human Mind, and has contributed to both scientific journals (Nature, Science) and the mainstream press (The New York Times, The New Yorker).
