Bio
Jerry Mang’ena is a marine biologist, co-organizer and co-curator of TEDxOysterbay. He is passionate about addressing, hunger and poverty with the sustainable use of the ocean.
He is currently the co-founder and Executive Director of Aqua-Farms, an organization that advocates for sustainable use of lakes, oceans and rivers and the blue economy world. Jerry holds a Bachelor degree in Aquatic Science and Fisheries and is currently pursuing his MSc in Microbiology with his research focus on fish post-harvest losses.
