Bio
Michael is involved in Peru’s tech sector as a cofounder at Vitec, an IT company, LEAP, a videogame development studio and Anda, a consumer hardware company that connects families through wearable devices. Anda has build a state-of-the-art smartwatch with LTE connectivity. He is an adviser to the Executive program for Digital Transformation at UTEC, a university, and has been a member of Lima’s Chamber of Commerce committee on Innovation, Science and Technology and the multi-sector working table for creative industries of the Ministry of Production. He has been involved in pushing forward the videogame industry as the head of the Videogame Companies Association. He is the Director-General at TEDxTukuy a large local TEDx event that has connected people and projects with institutions, sources of founding and partners providing a significant boost to high-impact projects. He is also involved in the use of technology in the reduction of state bureaucracy in partnership with several institutions. He has an interest on a broad range of topics including complex systems, international issues, physics, etc.
