Got in touch with TED watching a local TEDx event. I instantly got connected with it. TED placed in my heart the need to give back to the world. I started translating TED Talks in 2016. One of the most important tasks completed, in my opinion, was to translate Ameera Harouda's TED Talk to Brazilian Portuguese. I represented the TED Translators team in TEDxUSP and will continue supporting them (see TED Translators Blog Post on this event: https://tedtranslators.com/2016/10/18/ted-translators-at-tedxusp/ Had the honor of translating Pope Francis' talk for TED2017. Participated as a speaker in TEDxUFSCar with the talk "Knowledge as the first step for social entrepreneurship", in TEDxIndaiatuba event with the talk "The importance of knowing a little bit about everything" and in TEDxUniso with the talk "A new vision for altruism in the workplace". Was invited by TED to attend TED2017: The Future You. https://tedtranslators.com/2017/03/06/a-closer-look-at-the-ted-translators-selected-to-attend-ted2017/ I love how TED en Español connects me back to my roots and am very fond of the Spanish speaking TED community. Organised in March 2018 the first TEDxCampinas event for over 800 people. In April 2019, TEDxCampinas brought 15 ideas to the stage where tickets sold out in less than 3 hours. TEDxCampinas 2020 was reinvented to a movie format reaching over 3000 viewers in its premiere. Continued my journey with TEDxCampinas with events reaching over 1200+ people including TEDxCampinas Women events. Co-organized TEDxRio Countdown and participated in the relaunch of TEDxAmazônia. Hosted TEDxBlumenau Democracy 2024. Participated in the organization team of 2020's Brazil TEDx Workshop crafting the Team Building and Partnerships sessions. Became TEDx Ambassador in 2021.
