Born and raised in Minas Gerais, Brazil, Tulio is an undergrad student of control and automation engineering at UFMG in Belo Horizonte. The amount of voluntary work he’s done thus far greatly overshadows his paid work experience, which may be concerning to some, but at least it ain’t boring! His interests are fantasy and historical fiction books, designer board games and computer games (search him on BGG and Steam) and he enjoys watching and/or playing almost any sport you can name: football, american football,basketball, volleyball, badminton, golf...

The TED story
Back at 2009 I saw some TED talks that a pretty good brazilian site recommended (papodehomem.com.br) and liked it, but forgot to watch more videos because I was busy studying to get into an university. Since I got approved for the 2nd half of 2010 I got then plenty of time and started to watch talks, got so into it that watching one everyday is a habit. Then I wanted to share it with brazilians that can't understand very well english and applied to be a translator, am glad I can help to spread the word!
