Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra is the Co-Organiser of TEDxVSSUTBurla, an independently organized TED event under the global TED initiative. My purpose is to help bridge those perspectives, nurture dialogue, and celebrate the limitless potential of human thought.

Every discussion, every brainstorming session, every sleepless night before the event reminded me that what we do is more than organizing — it’s about building connections that make people think, feel, and believe again. Through this journey, I learned that perspective truly changes everything. People don’t know I’m good at finding clarity in chaos — taking scattered ideas, emotions, and visions, and shaping them into something meaningful and impactful. I have a quiet strength for organizing what feels unstructured, bringing calm to intensity, and helping teams move in harmony toward a common goal. Behind the spotlight, I love curating experiences where creativity meets precision. Whether it’s planning an event, designing a story, or leading a team, I naturally focus on the details that others might overlook — the tone of a message, the rhythm of a moment, or the feeling an experience leaves behind. What many don’t see is that I thrive most when I’m creating silently — connecting dots, guiding ideas, and turning vision into reality. It’s not just about management or creativity; it’s about making people feel something lasting through the work we build together.
