Bio
I have been an educator at public schools in Canada and private schools in China, Kuwait, and Jordan over the past 17 years. I was born in Canada, but developed the desire to travel and teach as a result of my deep love for World History. I have two children and a wonderful wife who are my constant companions through my lifelong journey.
Most recently I have returned to the Middle East as a high school English teacher. I have met some of the most interesting students that I have ever known, and I do my best to teach with empathy and respect to create a classroom environment where students feel empowered to take reasonable academic risks. I believe that we learn just as much from the errors we make in life, as we do from the successes. I believe that empowering my students to make changes in the world will result in a better future for everyone.
