Bio
I was born in France, worked in the US and now live in Switzerland. I was trained as an academic scientist in prestigious universities (Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris, France and Rockefeller University, New York, USA) and I am currently conducting research at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. My work focusses on sensory perception, in the normal and schizophrenic brain. I have a strong drive to explore unknown territories, bring about new knowledge and share it with others. This passion led me to take part in the organization of a local TEDx event and I have been thrilled to curate, coach for and host the TEDxLausanne conferences for the past 4 years (tedxlausanne.com). My passion for unexplored territories brought me to improvised comedy 9 years ago and I have been performing for the past 1.5 year (renegadesaints.eu). I am also involved in several science communication projects and workshops. As a relentless explorer, I enjoy travelling, experiencing the cuisines of the world and meeting new people.
In short, I am passionated about exploring and making sense (or not) of the unknown, and I love sharing my discoveries.
I'm passionate about
I love the unknown. I'm passionate about exploring new territories, physical and intellectual. I love sharing. Laughter in particular. Improvised comedy is good for that.
An idea worth spreading
In a post-capitalistic world where the (free) currency is information, we should thrive to be happy, as individuals, groups and societies.
