Owner of one dog and three cats. Avid pocket knife collector. Shamelessly addicted to hip hop music.
TED translator, language coordinator for Serbian - I've seen way too many TED talks in my life, and I enjoy spending my time devoted to translating.
So far I've been to two TED events and it's always a life changing experience, mostly I find out how I love other translators, how one day I'd love to be as cool and extroverted as a TEDx organizer and how TED gathers a crowd of beautiful people, inside and out.
Oh, I have a BA and MA in English and I'm working on my PhD in linguistics now... But don't ask me about that boring stuff :)
I'm passionate about
Education and making education available to everyone regardless of where or who they are. Tolerance and reaching peaceful solutions through discussion.

The TED story
I started translating TED talks to Serbian in February 2013. I quickly realized how fun and enlightening the talks can be. I was introduced to the wonderful TED translators' community, both in my country and internationally. Translating quickly became one of my favorite things to do in idle moments and I have translated and reviewed hundreds of talks to my native language.
In September 2013, I attended the first Balkan regional TED OTP workshop and met the wonderful people who are the soul of this community.
In November 2013, I was chosen as a language coordinator for Serbian. In March of 2014, I attended TEDActive2014... This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, both regarding the conference and the amazing people I've met from the TEDx and OTP communities.
I truly hope that with my time given to TED, I can contribute to spread ideas worth sharing as much as I possibly can.
