Bio
Palash, a Certified Board Director, and Sustainability Professional, is committed to creating space to listen and learn together while addressing global water security − one of the world’s most pressing challenges. He works as an Advisor, Coach, and Trainer on climate change, impact assessment, and management of sustainability risks.
Palash serves the boards of Royal College International, International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) Canada, WaterAid Canada, and the City of Saskatoon’s Environment Committee and Local Immigration Partnership Advisory Council. Palash holds three master’s degrees in engineering, development economics, and water security.

Building resilient communities through sustainable governance is at the heart of my work. By creating systems that empower local decision-making and promote sustainability, I aim to ensure communities can adapt to and thrive amidst ongoing challenges. Enhancing water security is critical to this effort, as well as addressing climate challenges by safeguarding this vital resource for future generations. I am deeply committed to promoting equity and inclusion in leadership spaces, recognizing that diverse perspectives and voices are essential for meaningful and lasting impact. Additionally, I focus on developing frameworks for lifelong learning and adaptability, equipping individuals and organizations with the tools they need to navigate an ever-changing world and create positive, sustainable change.

My work in sustainability and governance revolves around addressing some of the world’s most complex challenges, from water security to equitable leadership.

I excel at using storytelling to simplify complex concepts, transforming intricate ideas into relatable narratives that inspire understanding and action. I am passionate about designing immersive learning experiences that engage participants and foster meaningful connections to the material. Facilitating challenging discussions with empathy and effectiveness is a skill I value, creating safe spaces where diverse perspectives can converge to find common ground. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy culinary experimentation with global cuisines, exploring flavours and techniques that bring cultures together through the universal language of food.
