Bio

I am a medical doctor from Slovenia, currently finishing up my PhD in Immunodermatology. I did my PhD at two Universities, in Oldenburg (Germany) and Groningen (Netherlands), focusing on autoimmune disease called Bullous Pemphigoid. I've been a a TED translator since 2010, and I became the Slovenian LC in September 2012 (after attending a regional TED workshop in Serbia). I've translated, transcribed or reviewed over 330 talks. What do I do now? Besides spending most of my time writing (#PhDlife), my passion is being a LC for Slovenian language, learning how to draw, doing yoga and Pilates and travelling around the world. This year I visited Ireland and Malta and next year I plant to visit Asia again.

I'm passionate about

Science is my first love, but I do carve out time for other stuff. I love to draw in my free time, I read a lot (check it out on my Goodreads profile!), I do yoga, I love to cook and listen to podcasts. I travel as much as I can and I also enjoy learning a new language.
