Deeply interested in cross-boundary collaboration, theatre and passionate about encouraging young people through church community

Integrating project-based learning across the curricula to build authentic learning experiences is important to me. Learning by doing is the motto of my alma mater Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. In our classroom I try to find interconnections between core academic subjects with real-world issues.

I have been involved in TEDxRoyalTunbridgeWells since 2016, having attended the first event in 2015. I was initially a speaker coach and part of the organising committee. I went on to take a lead speaker coach and co-curator role in 2017 and was Chair in 2019 and 2020. In 2020 I was due to attend TEDFest with a view to taking over the license. When it was cancelled due to Covid I attended the online license holders event and after a hiatus am delighted to be working alongside the team that is bringing TEDx Royal Tunbridge Wells back. We're excited for the future.
