Since I was a kid I'm in love for wildlife. Every time that my parents could take me somewhere I asked to go to the zoo. My room started to get filled with books of animals and the documentaries of BBC and National Geographic were at the TV all the time. The kid started to grow, and with him came the passion for animals. So, I decided to study those animals and became a Biologist. However, I didn't want to go the regular path that everybody does. So I took my guide's license and started to work as a wildlife guide in the Pantanal, the Largest wetland in the world. After two years, working with tourists for all over the world I went to the Amazon where I guided for two years. Then, I came back to Sao Paulo where I started to work as a journalist at National Geographic Brasil where I had my own blog of wildlife, was responsible for photographic articles the social media of the magazine in Brazil for five years. Now I'm a freelancer who works as a wildlife guide in Pantanal and Amazon, journalist, translator (English/Portuguese) and writing biology text books for kids.
