One word – ”Design”. I represent a story in my creations unbounded by reality and invested with illusions. I have the freedom to bring my views to life in ways that are open to interpretations. It is a great way to connect with people, to view things from their perspectives, and discuss the meanings which often lead to deep conversations and thus stronger bonds. I am the President of the Digital Arts Society of our college. Over the years, I have won numerous competitions in the field of designing and illustrations. I started my journey in design by learning about various software and photography techniques but the road is far from over because the world of design is ever-changing. One of the speakers of last year's TEDxBVCOE event, Mr. Deepak Justin, talked about thinking creatively inside the box. The literal meaning of that talk for me was- “While bound by rules, explore yourself within the limits”. This unimaginable vision of his touched and inspired me deeply. Forethought, planning out every stroke and click, I utilize the process of designing to improve the efficiency of my work and life as well. The key to design lies in the details and it has the power to give meaning to unsaid words.

Educating parents as they are the binding force between the school and the child

We have a tendency to believe that our emotions are uniquely our own. That our problems are unsolvable, and no one else could possibly understand. But when an epic composed in the 8th century BC, or a science fiction book written by a teenager in the early 1800s perfectly captures what you feel, you realise that what feels intensely personal, is, in fact, deeply human. This is why reading is my biggest passion. In the truest sense of the word, I am passionate about literature. Reading and writing go hand in hand. As Rainer Maria Rilke writes, "Go into yourself. Examine the reason that bids you to write; check whether it reaches its roots into the deepest places of your heart." I try to write every day, no matter how short or unpolished it may be. The act of putting my thoughts down, of shaping them into words forces clarity.

Avani loves to share spreading ideas and enabling social internetworking by organizing events. She hopes to spread great ideas that tackle the most pressing issues and tell the most important stories of the day.
