As simple-minded as it sounds, I am passionate about reading. While I have several hobbies that I find joy in, reading seems to be the only timeless activity I can engage in without ever getting bored. Each time I open up a book, not only do I learn something more, but I also feel emotions that often cannot be conveyed in the real world.

I am a student who studies in the department of liberal art but fond of science and technology. What I am passionate about in my life is the technology that can make a difference to all humanity. In my perspective, there are three trends of tech that will surge and eventually change how human lives, which are AI, data surge, and blockchain. Due to this, I have been studied blockchain for half a year and astonished by the concept of decentralized and the high-security characteristic.
Since the field is not mature enough, there aren’t any courses I could take at my university. Thus, I had to do many research on my own, attend different events, and take online courses. Notwithstanding it seems time-consuming, thinking of I might have a chance to join the uprising moment of this technology motivates me to go further on this journey. One might ask since you are a student from liberal art, do you have the ability to process the logic and technical aspects of this field? Honestly, in some conditions, it does take me more time than others to comprehend the content. But it is not a reason to compromise or even give up. When it comes to success, it is always passion that takes one to his/her goal, but where you’re from or which field you originally at.
Besides the passion for blockchain, inspiring people with my thoughts of life Is also where my enthusiasm is. Helping people to find the purpose of their life cannot be more exciting. There are multiple nights that my friend would come to me for consulting. The content varies from life, relationship, and family, but I can somehow always point out the core of the situation and inspire them with a different perspective. Seeing the growth of my friend, the amount of happiness is beyond explanation.
In this TEDx event, I hope individuals in my community can be enlightened by those who succeed with persistence, passion, and the will to try. Like me being inspired by those stories when I first get into college. I wish TEDx can provide me the opportunity to spread those great ideas to my community and eventually make the world a better place.
