For the past 12 years since completing my Masters Degree in International Economics/Finance, I have had the benefit of working in the venture capital industry assisting entrepreneurs to conceptualize, strategize, market, pitch and raise funding for their businesses - I am passionate to help them succeed and to build communities and networks of individuals that help one another to get ahead.

Oluwatosin has keen interest for journalism, writing and speaking to fellow young minds to achieve their goals.

Working for what matters- watching peole around me happy in what they do and how they do it. I get a buzz from success; family's success; other peoples success- strangers sucess- my own success. Lecturing helps me share the areas of work and life I care about- and to watch amazing people develop in these areas, I am always absorbing so much enthusiasm and spirit from learners in classes- buzzing when I leave. Energy and Passion is contagious and in my classrooms you find its a two way street. Seeing Happiness light up the dark corners of life. Helping people get there..to whereever 'there is' . Working with really good people, saavy, thikkers- those who I know are going to change how we work and live. Exciting and animating- and gernally I'm passionate about being free to think and speak about the areas of life I enjoy, work I enjoy and learning I enjoy- , ultimately appreciating that not all of us get that basic privilege!

A leader is never at rest until he or she has made a novel path for others to tread on. My fondness for doing something new and abiding by it has always kept me busy with setting new benchmarks for myself . I am proud that I could lead Little Angels High School to be a school where it has lately received the ‘Best School of the Year Award’ from the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan while I also received International Status Award in the field of Education. Assuming my role as a path-maker, I launched the FIRST BLIND STUDENTS QUALITY CIRCLE IN ASIA in September 2007 and was instrumental in launching India Ethics Campaign at LAHS for the first time in Madhya Pradesh. I was also instrumental in launching the First India Ethics Campaign in Madhya Pradesh, I also launched the GNRC program at LAHS.In collaboration with the External Affairs Dept. of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of India, I worked enthusiastically for eradicating violence against women & children. Further, I collaborated with IFCW on issues related with underprivileged children.

Improving health at the population level has been my greatest motivation; especially as I observed that the basic health problems of the poorest and the most vulnerable communities are mostly unmet. I was born and raised in a remote community where access to health care facilities is greatly limited. This experience has nailed down a very significant passion for health within me. In 2017, following my appointment as Tutors at the College of Nursing, where I have successfully trained over 500 nursing students and 200 community midwives in the last two years. Later in 2019, I formed alliances with about ten qualified medical doctors and 50 paramedics from the National Youth Services Corps (NYSC), to appraise rural health care delivery through community health workforce training, and free medical outreaches. I also used a one-hour radio programme slot allotted to me at the Rima Radio 97.1 FM sokoto State from 2018-2019 to promote health monthly. In 2019, I was appointed as a Lecturer at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU). Till date my research teams are addressing gross ignorant and deleterious cord care practice among the rural populace of the eastern Nigeria. I am currently a Mastercard foundation scholar studying master’s in Global Health Policy at the University of Edinburgh. As a master’s student, I was recently elected as the Postgraduate Taught Representative of over 15,000 PG students, followed by an appointment to become a committee member of the University Library and Edinburgh Future institute.
