TEDxOKC

We wanted to launch our 2011 conference by creating a theme that represents the essence of TEDxOKC: positive change. After numerous brain storming sessions we came up with the theme, Everything Begins with an Idea. It recognizes the great importance of ideas while acknowledging they are but a beginning. The mightiest oak tree began with a single tiny acorn. Quite simply, ideas that spark curiosity, generate enthusiasm and empower people to act can have a powerful effect in our lives and communities. TEDxOKC’s objective is to facilitate that enthusiasm and foster curiosity.
