LocationLondon, London, City of, United Kingdom
TEDxTeddington 2012 was a celebration of science, art, music and humanity. The speakers included scientists from the National Physical Laboratory; and exceptional students from Teddington School. This event is organized by Teddington School not only as a hugely entertaining and educational occasion, but as an opportunity to coach and mentor students so that they can speak and perform on an equal footing with world class speakers on an adult stage. TEDxTeddington, now in its third year, represents the original educational thinking and high ambition of the school that has accompanied its move into its spectacular new building in September 2010. Reaction to TEDxTeddington 2011: “Speakers, organizers, sponsors and audience alike were astonished at the quality of the presentations. Feedback from attendees was universally complimentary- ‘extraordinary… inspirational… brilliant!’.” Video of previous events is available from the 'Past TEDxTeddington Events' link on the right.
