Chelsy Arrata
Student & Youth Advocate
Chelsy Arrata is a 17-year-old student, speaker, and youth advocate from Long Island, New York. She is the founder of MessageMatters, a communication initiative that helps young students build confidence, empathy, and effective communication skills. Through leadership, public speaking, and community service, she is passionate about helping others find their voice. In her TEDx talk, The Threshold Between Adversity and Agency, Chelsy explores how resilience is not something we are born with, but something we develop through the decisions we make when life becomes difficult. She hopes her story encourages others to recognize their own capacity for growth, purpose, and change.
