TEDxDavidson College

TEDxDavidson College is a cross-campus collaboration including the Sociology Department, Communication Studies Department, Educational Studies Department, the Jay Hurt Hub for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Davidson College, the D.G. & Harriet Wall Martin Institute for Public Good and the William F. and Betty G. Mulliss Center for Civic Engagement. The event will feature four thematic sessions (two in the morning, two in the afternoon) that run approximately 1.5 hours. The sessions will be organized under one of four spotlighted categories. Each session will include approximately six talks, each with a run time of 8-10 minutes. The spotlight categories for The Good Space are: - Creativity & Innovation - Community Engagement for the Public Good - Education - Attention and Digital Communication
