• Agnivh Prakash Bora

  Student

  Agnivh is a Class 12 student of The Assam Valley School. He is an ardent reader and a prolific speaker. He has an amazing talent for public speaking, anchoring and debating. His interests are community service and media. Agnivh Prakash Bora is a dynamic student leader and a passionate advocate for community service at The Assam Valley School. Celebrated as a winner of the prestigious Telegraph Online Edugraph 18 Under 18 Award, he serves as the Head of the Youth Squad for the Early Childhood Development Forum (ECDF), driving critical conversations around youth empowerment and education. Being the ICSE Topper 2025, he also serves as the Round Square Chairperson and is actively executing global leadership at summits like the International Round Square Conference at AVS.

• Dr. Narayan Sharma

  Assistant Professor, Cotton University, Guwahati

  Dr. Narayan Sharma is Assistant Professor, Cotton University in Guwahati in the state of Assam. He completed his Ph.D. in 2013 from National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore / Manipal University, Manipal, India. With over twenty years of experience in teaching, Dr. Sharma feels it is important to give back to the community and he loves to interact with his students. He has done exemplary work in the field of wildlife conservation and education. His research interests are ecology, conservation biology, human-nature relationship, biodiversity and urban ecology. Today he will share his thoughts on 'future of learning'.

• Indapher Gisele Dkhar Nongpiur

  Student, Public Speaker & Actress

  Indapher is a Class 12 student of The Assam Valley School. She likes to engage in public speaking, debates, dialogue, group discussions and acting. She has acted and won popularity for her roles, a prominent one being the protagonist in an adaptation of 'My Fair Lady'. She wants to become a lawyer. She loves dance, drama and music.

• Khushi Bakliwal

  Student

  Khushi is a Class 9 student of The Assam Valley School. She is an excellent speaker and debater. She won the Summerscale Award for Excellence among Young Achievers. She is also fond of singing, dancing and playing sports. Her interests are- reading and writing.

• Mrs. Kamalika Rakshit

  Senior Teacher

  Kamalika is a senior teacher with several years of experience. She currently teaches Geography at The Assam Valley School, Balipara in the state of Assam. Her interests are leadership and public speaking. She loves dance and music.

• Mrs. Raya Mukhopadhyay

  Senior Teacher

  Raya is a talented teacher, speaker and innovator. She has led several students in productive internship programmes and training at a young age. She currently heads the Sociology Department at The Assam Valley School in Balipara in the state of Assam. Her interests are reading, writing and adventure sports.

• Ms. Himparna Das

  Research Student

  Himparna Das is an M. Sc. in Environmental Biology and Wildlife Sciences, Cotton University in Guwahati in the state of Assam. She derives her Masters research work interests from 'solastalgia' and the extinction of experience and titled it- 'From Green to Grey'. Her other interests include public speaking. She is the recipient of Hem Barua Memorial Award for Best Speaker, Cotton University.

• Ms. Kaniika Ssingh

  Public Speaking Mentor & Image Coach

  Kaniika is a talented image and transformational coach who has helped several people find their way around strengthening their self-confidence, embrace their voice and vision their style. She is a communication expert who won 'Women Mentor of the Year 2023', Icons of Asia and is also a co-author of Amazon bestseller- 'Pause, Reflect, Reset'.

• Nazifa Noorine

  Student, Philanthropist and Singer

  Nazifa is a Class 12 student of The Assam Valley School. She is a very talented singer who brought out her own video album on her YouTube channel and won accolades for this venture from fellow students, teachers and musicians. She also took an initiative in an NGO related to organ donation. She is a kind, compassionate and a no-nonsense girl with meaningful ideals and a purpose in life.

• Udayveer Singh

  Student

  Udayveer is a Class 9 student at The Assam Valley School. He is a prolific speaker with participation in several national and international debating and public speaking platforms. He is the recipient of Best Essay in Commonwealth Essay Competition. He is also fond of aviation.

• Yashpreet Kaur Sehmi

  Student

  Yashpreet is a Class 12 of The Assam Valley School recognised for her strong leadership, confidence, creativity, and exceptional public-speaking skills. As the Dramatics Captain of her school, she has taken on significant responsibilities, led teams, coordinated performances, and motivated her peers to work together towards a common goal. Her leadership is reflected in her ability to take initiative, make decisions, communicate with clarity, remain composed under pressure, and bring out the best in those around her. With a deep passion for dramatics and public speaking, she has represented her school in cultural performances and earned recognition for her contribution to the performing arts. Today, she brings her voice, vision, and leadership to the TEDx stage.
