This session of TEDxGMIS Youth will feature a series of thought-provoking talks that challenge conventional thinking and inspire personal growth. Speakers will explore ideas such as the importance of being bad at something, showing how failure and discomfort are essential for learning and innovation; comparison, examining how constantly measuring ourselves against others limits our potential; and closure is a myth we tell ourselves, encouraging audiences to embrace uncertainty and move forward without waiting for perfect endings. Other sessions will discuss the side effects of having too much, highlighting how abundance can diminish gratitude and resilience; breaking the invisible thinking, inspiring participants to question limiting beliefs and assumptions; how to deal with siblings, revealing how family relationships shape empathy, communication, and leadership skills; musical pivot, sharing a journey of reinvention through creativity and passion; and you never actually met your limit, demonstrating that our greatest barriers are often self-imposed and that growth begins when we push beyond perceived boundaries. Together, these talks will spark meaningful conversations and empower young people to think differently, lead with purpose, and create positive change in their communities.
