• Andrew Jones

  Student

  Andrew Jones A is a Grade 10 student with diverse interests in technology, sports, music, art, and creative expression. A national karate champion and active athlete, he is also passionate about football and cricket. Beyond sports, he is a public speaker, music artist, author, artist, and programmer. His interest in technology has led him to develop games and applications, participate in hackathons and competitions, and earn recognition for his projects. His talk, “Pixels and Perspectives,” explores how video games can influence how we think, imagine, and create. Drawing from his journey of creating a game based on the French Revolution, learning programming, developing applications, and competing, Andrew explores how gaming can spark curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and the desire to build. He highlights the importance of balance, encouraging us to control our passions rather than let them control us.

• Arshan T Mohammed

  Student

  Arshan is a Grade XII student with a keen interest in technology and public speaking. An enthusiastic debater and speaker, he believes ideas can challenge perspectives and inspire meaningful change. As Cultural Secretary of the Student Council, he has helped lead and organise cultural initiatives, including Magnum Opus, the school’s inter-school cultural fest. A former Editor-in-Chief of the editorial team, Arshan has a strong passion for writing, storytelling, and communicating ideas. His interests include artificial intelligence, data science, computers, graphic design, editing, and public speaking. A school topper in Grade X, Olympiad winner, and inter-school debate winner, he constantly seeks to learn beyond the classroom. His talk, “The Half-Life Of Knowledge,” explores how quickly knowledge can become outdated in a rapidly changing world. He questions whether education should focus on what we know or on our ability to keep learning, unlearning, and adapting.

  Elena Cadence of grade 9 is a nature enthusiast. Her friendly demeanor enhances her natural ability to engage in spontaneous and well-timed discussions. Her enthusiastic fascination with space makes her interactions even more interesting, as she often includes specific details about satellite launches and rockets.Being a member of the National Cadet Corps brings her great pride, and she eagerly anticipates learning to handle a rifle next year. In addition to excelling academically, she also excels in sports and cultural activities, earning numerous medals .This multi-talented facet is accompanied by a strong sense of empathy for others. Her affection for nature and strict stance against the destruction of even the smallest plants drives her to engage in more conversations about nature and its beauty..

• Esther Aradhana

  Student

  A curious and passionate Grade XII student, Esther finds inspiration in music, words and experiences. An avid singer and lover of music, she sees it as a powerful form of expression—a way to communicate emotions that words sometimes cannot. She is also an enthusiastic writer who finds something worth writing about everywhere, from everyday moments and personal experiences to ideas that shape how we see the world. With a love for travel and exploration, Esther is always seeking new ideas, inspiration and adventure. Her talk, “ A World Changed by What - Ifs”, explores the power of imagination and the courage to believe in the impossible. From dreaming of flight to stepping on the Moon, every great change began with someone asking, “What if?” She explores how even a small idea can, with courage and conviction, change the world.

• Florence Devanesan

  Teacher

  Florence Devanesan made a heartfelt transition from a successful career as a Computer Science Engineer in the IT industry to the joyful world of education, driven by her love and passion for children. She talks about her journey from a coder to a teacher she inspires and encourages everyone to follow their heart. With a heart for holistic learning, she now serves as a Mathematics Teacher and Academic Coordinator, helping young learners build strong foundations in numeracy, logical thinking and confidence - making math meaningful, simple and fun.

  S. Lallith is a curious and driven Grade XII student with a keen eye for innovation and ideas that create impact. Currently serving as the Environmental Leader in the school's student council, he is deeply passionate about sustainability and believes that small, consistent actions can shape a better future. An enthusiastic speaker and a firm believer in the power of voice, he loves to explore new perspectives and turn them into meaningful conversations. With a strong interest in innovation and problem-solving, he enjoys finding creative solutions to real-world challenges. His talk explores the most valuable yet most neglected resource of our generation - attention - and how reclaiming it can change the way we live, learn and connect.

• Rebecca George

  Rebecca George is an English teacher with ten years of teaching experience. She believes learning should go beyond textbooks and encourages her students to observe, experience, question and try, because real experiences often make lessons stay with us. She believes in the potential of today’s children. With their ideas, abilities, technology and power to connect, they can shape the world they will live in. As much as she teaches, Rebecca sees herself as a learner alongside her students, inspired by their wisdom and fresh perspectives. She cares deeply about values that are slowly being lost and strives to remind her students to be humane, responsible, humble and considerate of the world they share. Her TEDx talk comes from an everyday observation that has bothered her for years. After discussing it with her students for nearly a decade, she hopes they will not only notice the problem, but become the generation that finds better ways to solve it.

  S. Reshmi Angel is a passionate Grade XII student with a strong passion for Science and research. She loves learning more about human behaviour and psychology . She enjoys Journaling and quilling in her free time. Her talk examines the paradox of decision-making - specifically why the right choices often feel deeply uncomfortable at first. By exploring the power of micro-decisions, the talk illustrates how making just one small, intentional choice can completely alter a person's trajectory and inspire meaningful change.

• Rishon Paul K

  Student

  Rishon Paul is a Grade IX student with a deep interest in history, culture, and sports. A basketball player and an enthusiastic writer, he enjoys exploring different forms of creativity and expressing his ideas through writing and public speaking. His curiosity about history, particularly ancient civilizations and Greek culture, has encouraged him to look beyond individual societies and understand how ideas travel, evolve, and influence one another. His talk, *“Borrowed and Blended to Belong,”* explores the surprising connections between cultures that we often see as separate. From Greek and Roman mythology to tea, language, and mathematics, Rishon reveals how many things we consider uniquely belonging to one culture have actually been shaped by the exchange of ideas across civilizations. The talk encourages the audience to question the idea of cultural purity and recognize that cultures have always borrowed, blended, and evolved through human connection.

• Ryan George Mathew

  Student

  Ryan George Mathew is a Grade XII student, an avid reader and passionate calligrapher who enjoys expressing himself through words, creativity and the arts. His love for writing began with articles for the school magazine and scripts for plays, leading him to join its editorial team. He was part of the team that started Vox Popoli, the school’s radio initiative, where he discovered his voice as a radio jockey. As a School House Captain, Ryan has learned the value of leadership and teamwork. His love for photography stems from his curiosity about capturing moments from different perspectives. Curious and eager to explore, he embraces new experiences and creative pursuits. Alongside his interests, he has remained committed to academics, securing the second-highest marks in the school in the Grade X Board examinations. His talk, “The Science Behind a Movie Twist,” explores why we can see the truth yet believe something else, revealing how our brains shape how we interpret what we see.
