But some of the most defining moments begin when someone pauses and asks, “Why does it have to be this way?” Breaking the Pattern is about challenging what feels familiar and questioning what is accepted as normal. It celebrates individuals who reject old assumptions, rethink familiar problems, challenge established systems and dare to choose a different path when the world expects repetition. Through TEDxBITD 2026, we bring together voices and stories of people who have questioned, disrupted, and reimagined the patterns around them to create new possibilities. Their ideas remind us that meaningful change often begins with a simple act of curiosity seeing what everyone sees but thinking differently about it. Breaking the Pattern is an invitation to question the patterns that shape us, challenge the ones that hold us back, and imagine new ways forward.
