The Space Between- Where Growth Actually Happens We often celebrate destinations—the achievement, the breakthrough, the success story. Yet, the most profound growth rarely happens at the finish line. It happens in the spaces between. The Space Between is an exploration of the moments that shape us but often go unnoticed: the pause between dreaming and doing, the uncertainty between failure and success, the transition between who we are and who we are becoming. For young people especially, life is full of these in-between spaces. Between childhood and adulthood. Between certainty and curiosity. Between comfort and courage. These are the moments where identities are formed, perspectives are challenged, and possibilities begin to emerge. This theme invites speakers to share ideas, experiences, and discoveries that reveal the power of transition, transformation, and reflection. Whether it is a scientific breakthrough born from uncertainty, a personal journey through adversity, an innovation bridging two worlds, or a quiet moment that changed a life, every story reminds us that growth is rarely linear. At TEDx JGIS Youth, The Space Between celebrates the beauty of becoming—because sometimes the most important part of the journey is not where we start or where we end, but the space in between.
