“Stories That Move Us” is an invitation to discover the ideas, experiences and perspectives that have the power to shift how we feel, how we think and what we choose to do next. Held at Universiti Malaya, TEDxBangsar Baru brings together speakers and audiences from across the community for an open exchange of ideas worth sharing. At its heart is a simple belief: some of the most powerful ideas begin with a story - one that stays with us long after it has been told. “Move us” can mean many things. A story can move our hearts, stirring emotion, hope or a deeper sense of connection. It can move our minds, challenging assumptions, widening perspectives and opening us to new possibilities. And it can move us into action, inspiring us to build, create, question, contribute or make a meaningful change in our own lives and communities. Behind every breakthrough, movement, innovation and personal transformation is a human story. Stories That Move Us is about bringing those stories to the stage - stories with ideas at their core and the potential to inspire, challenge and empower. TEDxBangsar Baru is not simply a space to listen. It is a place to encounter ideas that stay with us, conversations that continue beyond the stage, and stories powerful enough to move us forward.
