In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDxOsney brings together a vibrant community of thinkers, innovators, and storytellers in the historic city of Oxford. This independently organized TEDx event aims to spark meaningful conversations, inspire new perspectives, and create lasting impact. TEDxOsney will feature 12 exceptional speakers from diverse fields, including entrepreneurship, education, technology, social impact, and the arts. Each speaker will share powerful ideas and personal journeys that challenge conventional thinking and encourage positive change. The event will also include engaging live performances, blending creativity with intellect to create a truly immersive experience. From music and dance to artistic expressions, these performances will complement the talks and elevate the overall atmosphere. Set in one of the world’s most intellectually rich environments, TEDxOsney reflects the spirit of curiosity, diversity, and innovation. It aims to bring together students, professionals, academics, and changemakers to connect, collaborate, and explore ideas that matter.   • Balaji J S

    Balaji JS is a UK-based sustainability leader and business executive, currently serving as Global VP – Sustainability Organization, where he leads the company's global sustainability strategy, ESG initiatives, and circular economy program across international markets. With more than two decades of experience in sustainability, environmental management, corporate governance, and digital transformation, Balaji has worked with leading multinational organizations to integrate sustainable business practices into global operations and supply chains. His expertise spans climate strategy, sustainable packaging, resource efficiency, and responsible business leadership. Balaji holds an MBA from the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School, an MSc in Environmental Management from Imperial College London, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester.

  • Ganta Jishnu Aaryan

    Ganta Jishnu Aaryan is a 10-year-old Guinness World Records title holder and an aspiring footballer who believes that age is never a barrier to extraordinary achievement. He earned global recognition by successfully recalling 216 decimal places of the Golden Ratio (Phi) in one minute, showcasing exceptional memory, focus, and mental discipline. His accomplishment reflects dedication, perseverance, and a passion for challenging himself. Beyond record-breaking, Jishnu's greatest passion is football. Inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo, he dreams of becoming a professional footballer while embracing the values of hard work, discipline, resilience, confidence, and the courage to dream big. Through his journey, Jishnu hopes to inspire others to believe in their potential, embrace challenges, and pursue their dreams with passion, consistency, and self-belief.

  • Jagadish Kumar Vallarampara

    "Jagadish Vallarampara is a climate resilience strategist and offshore systems specialist exploring how future coastal infrastructure can evolve beyond traditional defensive engineering. Through TERAOM (Technology-based Environmental Restoration and Ocean Management), he is developing concepts that combine renewable energy, AI-driven environmental intelligence, carbon sequestration, and adaptive coastal infrastructure into integrated “living” resilience ecosystems. Drawing from experience in offshore energy, marine operations, climate-risk systems, and environmental analytics, his work focuses on transforming vulnerable coastlines into intelligent net-zero coastal hubs capable of generating clean energy, restoring ecosystems, and improving long-term urban resilience. His research integrates metocean intelligence, nature-based solutions, and advanced infrastructure thinking to address the accelerating risks posed by sea-level rise and climate change.

  • Joe Eshwar

    Joe Eshwar is a British-Indian filmmaker, writer and documentary director based in Liverpool. Originally from Kerala, his work explores migration, memory, spirituality and belonging. His films include Kunthapura, recognized at the Kerala State Film Critics Awards; 8119 Miles, inspired by a Kurdish refugee’s story and screened at international festivals; and Dawpech: The Trap, a Marathi film featuring acclaimed actor Prasad Oak. He has directed approximately fifteen documentaries for Shalom World Television. His upcoming Malayalam feature, Garudavruthantham (The Chronicles of Garuda), examines ancestral roots, environmental memory and the complexities of returning home. Through The Unscripted Banyan, he shares stories of ordinary people, forgotten places and cultural heritage, while his Taiga Wisdom series explores faith and spiritual searching.   • Will Aldridge

    Will Aldridge is a Product & Platform Lead and former British Army Officer with a background in operational planning, logistics and technology-driven transformation. After seven years serving in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME), Will transitioned into infrastructure, logistics and digital operations, where he now works on large-scale operational systems across security, aviation and major infrastructure environments. His experience spans military deployments, airport logistics, operational transformation and data-driven decision-making in highly complex environments, including infrastructure logistics supporting the Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C nuclear construction programmes. Will is particularly interested in how invisible systems — logistics, coordination and data visibility — quietly shape modern society and influence human behavior at scale. Through his work, he explores how technology and operational visibility can improve resilience and reduce complexity.
