• Alexandre Berkovic

  Co-founder & CEO of Sphinx

  Alexandre Berkovic is the co-founder and CEO of Sphinx, a startup building AI agents for compliance teams at banks and fintechs. Sphinx automates the manual, repetitive work that slows down onboarding and investigations, helping leading financial institutions scale without growing headcount. Before Sphinx, Alexandre co-founded Adorno AI, an audio generation company that was later acquired. He studied Design Engineering at Imperial College London and Machine Learning at MIT.

  Giovanni Corrado began his career at the White House Press Office at just 20 years old. At 22, he moved to Wall Street with stints at Bloomberg and GLG, then was appointed Regulatory Advisor for Italy's majority coalition. A Harvard Master's graduate in Government, Giovanni is Founder of NextReg and CCO of BBVA US — rethinking how regulation evolves in a world of rapid technological change.   Joy Lau is a New York Emmy nominated documentary filmmaker with over 20 years of experience in film and digital media. Her work takes place in high pressure interviews under bright lights, with cameras rolling and strangers present, where she studies what helps people move from guarded answers to unexpected honesty. She has developed an approach grounded in close attention and real time emotional attunement that helps subjects feel seen quickly, often within minutes. Her talk explores a broader question: if honesty depends on how we listen under pressure, what would change in how we communicate, lead, and connect if that skill could be learned.

  Paul Dowding has worked over 35 years in financial operations management, innovation, design and re-engineering. He has designed and helped build a patented Blockchain/DLT networked accounting ledger solution for the regulated TradFi and Crypto/DeFi industries — TapestryX (L4SCorp.com). Paul has held management positions at major global banks and brokers and consulted at fund managers, hedge funds, clearing houses and depositories. He has worked in London, New York, Singapore and Sydney. Paul holds a BSc (Hons) in Aeronautics & Astronautics.
