Youth Voice Empowerment

Our goal is to give a space where students, teachers, and staff can truly understand perspectives of the students presenting; there are few outlets for high schoolers to publicly express themselves in a formal structured setting with a mass audience. With our TEDx conference we invite all speakers, not just advanced ones, to ensure the conference boosts people's confidence, not benefits off people who are already skilled in public speaking.

  • Aadwin Balla

    Student

Through Boy Scouts & Naval Sea Cadets, I’ve faced challenges that taught me resilience isn’t innate—it’s built through difficulty, support, and learning to ask for help. I believe schools should teach resilience as intentionally as academics, so students are better prepared to handle pressure and no one has to face hard moments alone.

  • Aaria Thakker

    Student

This is my first time at public speaking event, I’m really excited to continue to build my experience. This entire process was an amazing learning experience, and I wouldn’t be here without the people who supported me to get here.
