Speakers

Speakers may not be confirmed. Check the event website for the latest lineup.

  • Anghelo Araujo Lazaro

    Student, 10

Most people think success comes from talent or grades. It doesn’t. It comes from the rooms you’re in, and the rooms you’re not in. Anghelo talks about how, at 15 years old, he learned that sending one email can matter more than a perfect GPA, and why the world rewards people brave enough to look stupid.

  • Kurosh Kavoosi

    Student, 10

"Early Detection: The Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer" is a TEDx talk exploring why pancreatic cancer remains one of the deadliest cancers despite being treatable when caught early. Kurosh breaks down the science behind three emerging detection methods: liquid biopsies, biomarker panels, and AI-powered imaging, and explains who is most at risk. He closes the talk with a clear call to action: know your family history, support research, and spread awareness.

  • Pranav Pakalapati

    Student, 10

Pranav explores how social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok use sentiment analysis to understand user emotion, shape online experiences, and drive modern marketing strategies. Through relatable examples and real-world applications, Pranav examines how algorithms turn human emotion into valuable data — raising an important question about whether users are truly choosing the content they see, or if it is being chosen for them.

  • Rutvi Patel

    Student, 11

As a high school student and a pharmacy technician who has firsthand seen how addiction tears through her community, Rutvi discusses what happens when people in crisis meet a system built to punish rather than heal. That experience drove her to become an advocate against substance abuse, fighting for a future where addiction is viewed not as a moral failure or a choice, but as a health crisis deserving compassion, treatment, and care.

  • Sujit Sathyamurthi

    Student,10

Artificial intelligence is changing the world, but its environmental cost is hidden in plain sight. While the conversations around AI usually focus on energy and carbon, one of its most important resources, freshwater, is almost completely missing. In this talk, Sujit explores the surprising water footprint of AI, from the cooling systems inside data centers to the upstream water used by the power plants that supply them. He explains why geography dramatically changes the water cost of a single query, and walks through the emerging solutions that could help AI grow without draining the water sources it depends on. Sujit is a sophomore at Nashua High School. He is also passionate about scientific research and applying machine learning to real-world biological issues.
