• Anuradha P. Dhawan

  Anuradha P. Dhawan, popularly known as Anu PD. A designer, entrepreneur, sustainability innovator, forest campaigner, and responsible traveler, Anu has beautifully woven creativity and conscious living into every aspect of her life. With Around The Des, Anu highlights that true sustainability begins with the 5Rs — Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Repurpose, Recycle. The platform doesn’t just spread awareness but also creates experiences, such as the much-loved Sustainable Fashion Swap initiative.

• Chandra Mishra

  Known for his term #Employonomics, Chandra is working on a model of Employment Policy for India to convert its huge 'burden' of human resource into economy. According to him, Advance Human Economic Action Design is the key to a self-sustainable cycle of employment creation.

• Dr. Satish Kaumar

  Dr. Satish Kumar, founder and Executive Director of India's Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE), is a leading expert in energy efficiency and climate policy. An IIT Roorkee engineer with research experience at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab and Schneider Electric, he has shaped key initiatives like the Energy Conservation Building Code, India Cooling Action Plan, and State Energy Efficiency Index. His work bridges technical innovation and policy, advancing net-zero buildings, cooling solutions, and global networks like GBPN, while mentoring ecosystems such as Solar Decathlon India.

• Kanika Sood

  Kanika Sood is a dynamic social entrepreneur encompassing roles as a creative producer, marketer, educator, social designer, brand builder, business strategist, and sustainability educator. Her entrepreneurial journey began with establishing NIEV (Needful Initiatives for Environment Ventures) in 2011. NIEV is now a part of SEED (Sustainability Education and Entrepreneurship Development) Initiatives. She is currently building Humans of Hemp (HoH) India's first hemp learning platform. She is also building a podcast and community with HoH. HEMPBIS is also an initiative of HoH where she heads the agribusiness research initiatives and development along with the renowned scientist Dr. Kshipra. Kanika's long-term goals are ambitious and transformative: · Integrating traditional farming with sustainable agronomy practicesKanika firmly believes that collaboration is the key to progress and envisions spreading the therapeutic effects of Cannabis through Healing and Wellness experience centres called 'The Vijya' Currently pursuing her Doctorate degree from International School of Management, Paris, Kanika Sood continues to strive for sustainability and innovation in all her endeavors.

• Rumit Walia

  Rumit specializes in Youth Affairs and Program Curation/Management. Currently, he focuses on sustainability, energy, space exploration, and peacebuilding. As the Founder of Tears of the Earth, hes led projects promoting Environmental Stewardship, performative arts for advocacy, and sustainable development, collaborating with global organizations, governments, and youth networks. From presenting ideas directly to world leaders (including PM Narendra Modi) to being the youngest IVLP alumnus in the cohort, he thrives at the crossroads of policy, innovation, and community engagement. His journey has taken him across 50+ cities and 7 countries, where he has spoken to 50,000+ people, performed internationally, and curated spaces for impactful conversations.

• Sameera Satija

  She is the Founder of ‘Crockery Bank For Everyone’. This sustainable idea was recognized and awarded by the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, and the Cabinet Minister of State, Jal Shakti Ministry. She is a Sustainability Consultant ‘Astitva Trust’, Green Skilling Mentor and a Sustainability Practitioner with a demonstrated history of working in the civic & social organisation industry. Skilled in Accounting, Auditing, Networking, Community Outreach, and Marketing. Strong community and social services professional.

• Simmi Mishra

  Simi Mishra is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience across corporate, public, and development sectors. She has worked with organizations such as Accenture, IBM, and Thomson Reuters, and is now engaged in sustainability, public systems, and institutional development initiatives, including Mission Karmayogi and J-PAL. Her work focuses on driving systemic change, leadership development, and long-term impact.

• Verhaen Khanna

  He is a commercial pilot who decided to spend his free time on the ground helping the environment. He is the founder of the New Delhi Nature Society (NDNS). His goal is to bring nature back into our daily lives in the city. His efforts match the theme of “Nurturing Nature” as he works against Tree Blindness, which is ignoring the nature around us. He encourages getting involved by climbing trees and going on nature walks. He also supports Guerrilla Tree Planting, which involves planting trees in public spaces taken over by the government. Additionally, he has faced real legal battles. He successfully petitioned for the protection of Deer Park and other green areas in Delhi from being removed from legal status.
