In today’s rapidly changing world, long-held ideas of success, influence, and identity are being questioned and reshaped—particularly by younger generations. Success is no longer defined only by conventional careers or financial milestones, influence no longer belongs solely to large institutions or mass media, and identity is increasingly shaped by personal expression, community, and digital presence. At TEDxAGBS Kochi 2026, we explore this transformation through four interconnected domains that strongly resonate with today’s youth: young entrepreneurship, sports, fashion, and influencer-driven culture. Young entrepreneurs are redefining success by building ventures that value purpose, flexibility, and impact alongside growth. The world of sports offers powerful lessons in discipline, resilience, teamwork, mental strength, and self-development that extend far beyond competition. Fashion reflects evolving identities, cultural narratives, and forms of self-expression, while also opening conversations around sustainability and inclusion. Influencers represent a new form of influence—shaping opinions, aspirations, and consumer behaviour through trust, relatability, and community connection rather than traditional advertising alone. Together, these domains point to a larger shift in society: success is becoming more personal and meaningful, influence more local and authentic, and identity more fluid and expressive. This edition of TEDxAGBS Kochi invites the community to reflect on these changes and engage with ideas that are shaping how people work, create, compete, and connect today. Through diverse voices and lived experiences, TEDxAGBS Kochi 2026 aims to spark thoughtful conversations around how success, influence, and identity are being redefined in our times.

  • Aiswarya Kiran

    BEAUTY & FASHION CONTENT CREATOR

    Aiswarya Kiran is a beauty and fashion content creator, certified makeup artist, and entrepreneur based between Bangalore and Cochin. An MBA graduate who chose creativity over the corporate path, she built a career using digital platforms to share knowledge, artistry, and authentic beauty experiences. What began as a passion for makeup grew into a full-time profession where she uses social media as an educational space. Known for honest reviews and unique makeup techniques, Aiswarya approaches makeup as an art form rather than simply a trend. Her journey gained deeper meaning when she began creating content while battling alopecia, having lost more than half of her hair. By openly sharing her experience and raising awareness, she helped many people embrace confidence and self-acceptance. Today she has built a strong online community and continues inspiring conversations around authenticity, confidence, and redefining beauty on one’s own terms.

  • Dr. Shahna Mubarak

    AESTHETIC PHYSICIAN

    Dr. Shahna Mubarak is an aesthetic physician and consulting cosmetologist known for her patient-centric and ethical approach to beauty and wellness. Her work focuses not only on appearance but also on enhancing confidence while preserving individuality and authenticity. She believes aesthetic medicine should empower people rather than change who they are. With experience in non-invasive aesthetic and regenerative procedures, Dr. Shahna combines modern medical innovation with a holistic approach to health and lifestyle. She believes true beauty lies in understanding and embracing one’s unique identity rather than striving for perfection. She is an active participant and speaker at national and international medical forums. Through her work and community outreach, she promotes skin health awareness and encourages thoughtful conversations about beauty, confidence, and self-perception.

From her early journey in films and media to creating sustainable fashion, teaching, and training, Jiya’s path has always been rooted in creativity and purpose. Her flagship initiative, Your Menstrual Cycle, Your Superpower, has already transformed over 8000+ lives, helping people reconnect with their bodies, emotions, and inner strength. Through Houtoliv, Jiya is on a mission to reshape lives from the inside out — proving that true change doesn’t begin with the world around us… It starts within.

    BEAUTY & FASHION DIGITAL CONTENT CREATOR

    Maria Dominic is a bridal stylist, lifestyle, travel, and fashion blogger, and full-time content creator whose journey into the digital space began unexpectedly. What started as a casual exploration gradually evolved into a platform built on authenticity, creativity, and refined aesthetics. An MBA graduate, Maria blends creative expression with strategic insight, understanding both the art and business of personal branding. Her journey reflects resilience and determination, as she completed her B.Ed. during a challenging period in her life, demonstrating strong commitment to personal growth. Beyond her creative work, she serves as the secretary of the Kerala Kidney Research Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting individuals affected by chronic kidney disease. Today, Maria balances bridal styling and digital content creation while inspiring audiences through honest storytelling, style, and confidence.

  • Tinu Yohanan

    FORMER INDIAN CRICKETER

    Tinu Yohannan is a former Indian international cricketer and one of Kerala’s pioneering fast bowlers. Born in Kollam, he became the first cricketer from Kerala to represent India in both Test and One Day International cricket, debuting in Tests against England in 2001 and in ODIs against the West Indies in 2002. Known for his pace and disciplined bowling, he had a strong domestic career with Kerala and also represented India A, South Zone, and the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL. After retiring from professional cricket, Tinu transitioned into coaching and player development. He served as fast bowling coach with the Kerala Cricket Association and later as head coach of the Kerala senior men’s team. He currently works as a Specialist Fast Bowling Coach at the MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai, mentoring young cricketers and contributing to the development of fast bowling talent in India.

  • Vaishakh M V

    YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR

    Vaishakh M V is a 24-year-old first-generation entrepreneur and biotechnology innovator focused on sustainable solutions. He is the Founder and CEO of Zygreen Pvt. Ltd. and the creator of YESS (Young Entrepreneurs School & Society), a platform that helps students build practical skills, start small ventures, and explore green technologies. Once labeled a “math-just-pass” student, Vaishakh struggled in the traditional academic system before discovering his passion for biology while studying Botany and Biotechnology. Largely self-taught, he attended workshops, internships, and competitions, gaining recognition after winning the Best Innovator Award on National Science Day 2024. His work focuses on microalgae-based environmental solutions such as algae air purifiers, wastewater treatment bio-balls, and biofertilizers. Through YESS, he mentors students in “earn while you learn” entrepreneurship and works on climate-tech and youth innovation initiatives across India.
