The Road Not Taken - Inspired by Robert Frost, our TEDx theme reexamines the classic poem to explore the pivotal choices that shape our lives and communities.Popularly seen as a celebration of individualism, the poem's deeper message is far more relatable: our paths are often unclear, and the stories we tell about our choices define us. Frost admits the two roads were "worn... really about the same." The idea that one was "less traveled" is a narrative he crafts later in life.This speaks directly to our community—especially to graduates selecting universities and everyone facing decisions that feel monumental. How do we choose when there is no clear "right" path? Our event will explore how we navigate crossroads. We'll delve into the anxiety of "what if?", the courage to commit to a path, and the power we have to make our chosen road meaningful through our actions and growth. This theme is an invitation to reflect on how we all author our own journeys, finding purpose not in finding a pre-marked trail, but in the very act of walking.
