Lady Grace Dada shares her journey from performing musician and vocalist to Founder and Artistic Director for Serenity Performing Arts Academy. SPAA was established in 2005. The vision was to have affordable and accessible performing arts programs for children and families in the community. Lady Grace was determined to provide an outlet for artistic expression simply because she remembered what it was like to be creative, but not have access to summer enrichment programs or any performing arts events. SPAA is a community-based organization with the mission to increase access and exposure to the performing arts for children living in Northeast Houston. From performing arts summer camps and after school enrichment programs to monthly performance opportunities and performing arts workshop series, SPAA programs inspire and cultivate ongoing patronage in the performing arts.
